Sorry if you did not get the joke but a certain Kennedy recently somehow managed to arrange these words in chronological order dispite knowing they would be reproduced and broadcast to the public.

“Um, this is a fairly unique moment both in our, you know, in our country’s history, and, and in, in, you know, my own life, and um, you know, we are facing, you know, unbelievable challenges, our economy, you know, healthcare, people are losing their jobs here in New York obviously um, arh, you know. . . ”

Let's see how many SNL skits are made of this.

Let's see how many times the new president uses ahhh and ummm when he has no script and see if it gets any of the same attention as the bumbling satire of the last president.

Will a new chevy chase mock his bowling skills as much as the original made fun of a president who left a career with a professioal sports team?

"ya" = "you" by the way so the correct response should have been. "Nope, I don't" or "I do, but you don't".

Incorrect Example:

"Are you leaving?"

"No, you aren't."

Correct Example:

"Are you leaving?"

"No, I am not."

First person/ second person.

How come clinton got put through the wringer for foolin around on his wife and Kennedy didn't? Was it because clinton's overweight, and honker riddled prey were no match for the primo snatch of JFK?

Or was it the chauvinistic (what happened to that word?) context of the time?

I never got that one...

Don't get me wrong, JFK was a decent president and I am sure he pissed off his own party during the cuban missile crisis by being a true american leader, for that he must have had a set of brass balls for sure and we should thank him. His surviving brother and from I can determine, most of his offspring did not carry the gene in sufficient quantities to be in his league.

Didn't a palestinian shoot his brother?

And if it was made by the US goverment, it's public domain by default by the way. I wasn't going to tell you but I am rising above the fray in this great time of "change".

No offense taken, I appreciate the clarification...I'm usually on top of all things SNL, but I've been too darn busy over the last year to watch the show...it sucks not being on top of all the latest gags and missing out on all the inside jokes!

I'm going to assume public domain status, most Castle Films materials are PD...there are a few iconic shots in this film...John Jr's salute to his father...that are just heart-wrenching...even for a Canadian like myself!

I agree that Kennedy, though very inspiring and a great orator, is just as guilty as any other president of the various crimes of necessity that the office entails...just as Mr. Obama will certainly tow the line on many issues that affect American interests, hopefully he won't sell out completely, best of luck to him and to all of us....

True, yeah that is one of truly historic images of the 20th century. That family sure seems to have pissed off the "luck o' the irish" gods...

I only hope that in the age of political correctness, future valid critiques will not be cast in the unsavory light of racism, ya know, like the stuff, in the like, um, text area.

Sometimes my assisnine attempts at being the class clown in a class of millions doesn't always work out...

I'd say blackberry but that's racist... really he did drop it just now coming down the treacherous tarmac stairs, that along with gravity, plagued the 38th president and inspired the only popular imitation of someone that looked, acted and sounded nothing like the subject...
